News of the week: Pitchfork dribbles out lineup

This year’s Pitchfork festival lineup is being released in three separate announcements.

So it’s still a bit of a wait and see.

This week, the Chicago festival, in its 13th year, revealed 14 of the bands playing this summer, including Tame Impala on the first night. That appears to be the only headliner announced so far.

The festival will be held July 20-22 in Chicago’s Union Park.

Some of the other highlights: (Sandy) Alex G, Japandroids, Melkbelly, Kelly Lee Owens and Julien Baker.

Here’s Jeff Rosenstock playing an early set at last year’s fest.

And here’s Priests, which played a great show last year.
