Nada Surf raises charity money, tours anniversary album

Nada Surf is celebrating the 15th anniversary of its album, Let Go with some live performances, including a stop in Chicago.

The power pop band just released a curated covers album Standing at the Gates: The Songs of Nada Surf’s Let Go with some appearances by Aimee Mann, Charlie Bliss, William Tyler, Rogue Wave and others. The new release is said to raise money for charity with at least part of the proceeds headed to ACLU, according to the band’s website.

The band also plays a show Tuesday at Chicago’s Metro, to mark the anniversary of Let Go.
